In an attempt to get my family to eat nutritious foods, I engineered this recipe as a tasty way of consuming cod liver and roe.
This cod liver & roe pate egg salad recipe is inspired by the author of the book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, Weston A Price. You can find the website to his foundation here. As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with them.
Cod Liver
Cod liver is a nutritious food, rich in Omega-3s, Vitamin A, Vitamin D, and B Vitamins. It does not have an overwhelming taste to it, and it is one of the easiest livers to consume, due to the fact the taste isn’t overwhelming.
I used a can of cod liver & roe pate for this recipe. If you do not have one, you may make your own cod liver pate using this recipe. Simply mix in cod eggs later.

Eggs
In this recipe, I used pre-made hard-boiled eggs. However, if you don’t have any hard-boiled eggs, here is a recipe for how to make them.
Finally, let your hard-boiled eggs cool in the fridge for at least 3 hours before using. You don’t want warm egg salad, trust me.
