Einkorn Ginger Waffles Recipe
These einkorn ginger waffles taste great! I love the tatse of ginger. This beginner-friendly batter is simple to make. Pre-made waffle mix cannot compare to making your own! It takes maybe five minutes to put together all your ingredients. These ginger einkorn waffles are filling, only needing to serve one or two to feel full.
I make my ginger einkorn waffles with a Texas-shaped waffle maker. To fill my waffle maker, it takes about 1/4 a cup or about 5 tablespoons. However, depending on your waffle maker, you may need more or less batter. Be careful to not overfill!
These waffles are an affordable and quick meal, the best of both worlds! I recommend topping with powdered sugar, honey, maple syrup, or jam.
Einkorn
I use einkorn more than any other ancient grain. It more exensive, but in my opinion it’s worth it. Waffles that are made with einkorn flour have great texture. Einkorn Ginger Waffles
Equipment
- Spoon

- 2 Medium bowls
- Waffle maker
- Whisk (optional)
Ingredients
- 2 cups einkorn flour
- 1½ cup milk
- ⅓ cup melted butter
- 4 tbsp ginger powder
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat waffle maker.
- Mix together all dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Beat eggs.
- Add and mix all liquid ingredients into the beaten eggs.
- Mix together all ingredients until no dry flour is left.
- Pour batter into the waffle maker using a large spoon.
- Cook the waffles until firm.
- Remove the waffle from waffle maker either with a spoon or a dull knife.
- Serve immediately, preferably with powdered sugar, honey, or maple syrup.
