Einkorn Lemon Waffles

  • 2 Medium bowls

  • 2 cups einkorn flour
  • cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • cup melted butter
  • 2 tsp lemon flavoring
  • 2 tsp sugar (optional)
  • tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp turmeric (optional)
  • cooking spray (optional)


  • Preheat waffle iron.
  • Mix together all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Mix eggs together thoroughly.
  • Add and mix all liquid ingredients into the eggs.
  • Mix together all ingredients until not dry flour is left.
  • If using a waffle iron that is not nonstick, spray cooking oil on the waffle iron.
  • Pour waffle batter on the waffle iron.
  • Cook the waffles until crisp.
  • Remove waffle from waffle maker either with a spoon or a dull knife.
  • Serve immediately, preferably with powdered sugar or maple syrup.
